My Manhattan life began in August 2005. Back then, I interned for the Westchester County Department of Planning, and later took a job with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Next, I attended Columbia University. Then, I was an intern for two political newspapers located in Manhattan, one focusing on city politics, the other on statewide politics.

Now I write for a daily paper in the Catskills. I blog there too.

I am grateful for my skills using audio equipment and research tools, which I learned at Columbia, and hope to use them in the future.

Things I like include playing the oboe, hiking, running, reading and writing and my dog (who is not in Catskill, though).

Here I am at the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Park, Queens while the U.S. Open men’s finals were just starting. My boyfriend took this shot and many others of the Unisphere (contact if you’re interested).
